Al Jazeera Center for Studies [عربي].
Al Jazeera Centre for Studies is independent research institute concerned with deepening the elements of scientific research and dissemination of knowledge using communication media technology. The goal of the center is to spread knowledge and its access to researchers, academics and intellectuals, to monitor the regional and international changes and its repercussions on the Arab region, the preparation of in-depth studies and reports, the organization of research and intellectual activities and contribute to the advancement of translation of the Arabic language and the expansion of the areas of communication between civilizations and cultures and the measurement of public opinion and trends in various Arab countries and region.
 
Arab Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession [English][عربي].
The ACIJLP center is a non-governmental institution that works to reinforce and support the status of justice in the Arab regions, an independence of the judiciary, the legal profession and the respect of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
 
Arab Election Watch [English][عربي].
The Arab Network for the Monitoring of Elections was launched in early 2006 by Amman Center for Human Rights Studies. The network aimed to build an inter-Arab base and create coordinated efforts among the forces of the Arab civil society organizations with a view to strengthening the trend toward understanding the concepts of the democratic principles of the elections with its three dimensions, i.e. municipal, parliamentary, and presidential. The function of the network is to monitor, follow up and watch the processes and facts pertaining to the elections in the Arab World.
 
Arab Forum for Environment and Development [English][عربي].
The Arab Forum for Environment and Development (AFED) is a not-for-profit regional non-governmental organization, grouping experts together with the civil society, business community and media, to promote prudent environmental policies and programmes across the Arab region. AFED works towards bringing together all parties concerned with environment and development in the Arab world to discuss regional and national issues related to the environment, in view of local and global changes, emphasizing the pivotal role of civil society and the private sector.
 
Arab Network for Survey & Public Opinion Polls [عربي].
The Network is an Arab regional organization aimed at improving the ability of research and studies and experts interested in public opinion polls by developing the exchange experiences among themselves, enhancing the professional performance of polling and activate its role throughout Arab societies.
 
Arab Planning Institute [English][عربي].
The Arab Planning Institute (API) is a non-profit Arab regional organization - located in Kuwait- whose primary mission is to advance the cause of economic and social development in Arab countries through training, research, consultancy, expert-group meetings, and publication.
 
Arab World Institute [English][French].
The Arab World Institute- IMA Institut- is a museum and exposition center of Arab civilization managed in Paris by a consortium of Arab and European countries. It presents brief profiles of each Arab League country on the web.
 
Arabs for Democracy [عربي].
The project aims to develop the knowledge of democracy and contribute to the awareness of the importance and potential of the transition to democracy in the Arab countries and the Arab parties, and through studies and research, interviews and continue to researchers, in addition to publishing and documentation, and providing references, sources and links related to the studies of democracy in Arab countries.
 
Brookings Doha Center [English][عربي].
Based in Qatar, the Brookings Doha Center is an initiative of the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., and undertakes independent, policy-oriented research on socioeconomic and geopolitical issues facing Muslim-majority states and communities, including relations with the United States. The Center undertakes research and programming that engages key elements of business, government, civil society, the media and academia on key public policy issues in the following three core areas: (i) Democratization, political reform and public policy; (ii) Emerging powers in the Middle East; (iii) Conflict and peace processes in the region.
 
Carnegie Middle East Center [English][عربي].
Carnegie Middle East Center is a public policy think tank and research center based in Beirut, Lebanon. Established in November 2006 by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Carnegie Middle East Center is concerned with the challenges facing political and economic development in the Arab World, Turkey and Iran. It brings together senior local researchers from the region to work on in-depth research relating to critical matters facing the countries and peoples of the region. The Center aims to better inform the process of political change in the Arab Middle East and deepen understanding of the complex economic and security issues that affect it.
 
Center for the Study of Islam & Democracy [English].
The Center for the Study of Islam & Democracy (CSID) is a non-profit organization, based in Washington DC, dedicated to studying Islamic and democratic political thought and merging them into a modern Islamic democratic discourse.
 
Centre for Arab Unity Studies [English][عربي].
The Centre for Arab Unity Studies carries out research into all aspects of Arab society and Arab unity and publishes also a scholarly monthly journal in Arabic called "Al-Mustaqbal Al-Arabi" (The Arab Future).
 
Centre for Arab Women Training and Research [English][عربي][French].
Center of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR), established in 1993 in Tunisia as an Independent Regional Institution, works on promoting gender equality through research, networking and advocacy.
 
Middle East Youth Initiative [English][عربي].
The Middle East Youth Initiative (MEYI) was launched by the Wolfensohn Center for Development at the Brookings Institution and the Dubai School of Government in July 2006. The mission of the initiative is to promote the economic and social inclusion of young people in the Middle East
 
Muftah [English].
Muftah means in Arabic an “opening” or a “key”. Muftah is an ambitious and challenging project that provides a fresh outlook to understanding Middle East and North Africa (MENA region) from within. The aim of Muftah’s founders is to enable the shaping of an effective U.S. foreign policy towards the region through a MENA-focused lens and not exclusively in terms of U.S. interests.
