  • Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, Official site.- the Euro-Mediterranean partnership was established by the Conference of Foreign Ministers held in Barcelone November 27-28, 1995. It is a joint initiative by 27 partners, the 15 member states of the European Union and Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey and the Palestinian territories, and Libya with an observer status.   • European Institute for Research on Mediterranean and Euro-Arab Cooperation - Institut MEDEA (Institut Européen de Recherche sur la Coopération Méditerranéenne et Euro-Arabe). MEDEA is a non profit Belgian association created in July 1995. MEDEA facilitates exchanges of information and ideas between politicians, academics, journalists and concerned NGO’s; promotes dependent and objective analysis; communicatesresearch findings to opinion and political decision makers, in particular members of the European Parliament, in order to make a substantial contribution to co-operation, development and stability in the Mediterranean region and in Euro-Arab relations in general.
  • Euro-Arab Management School (EAMS) - is a European Union venture supported by the League of Arab States and the government of Spain. EAMS was created as a way to develop further economic relations between Europe and the Arab world.   • The Euro-Mediterranean Study Commission (EuroMeSCo) focuses on political and security co-operation, and confidence-building studies that aim to promote peace and stability through shared prosperity in the Mediterranean region.
  • Fondation Méditerranéenne d'Etudes Stratégiques (FMES) - was established in 1990 as a non-profit organisation dedicated to the study of the Mediterranean and to follow up on the programs of the Barcelona conference especially in the areas of the "security, stability and development" partnership; security in the Mediterranean; the arms industry; defence, security and humanitarian concerns.
  • The Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) , is an independent, policy-oriented non-profit organisation. It was founded in 1988 as a forum for the study and understanding of issues relating to foreign and security policy, European affairs and international relations. ELIAMEP's research subjects include the Eastern Mediterranean.
  • The Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) - the Institute of International Affairs was founded on 11 October 1965 as a non-profit organization. IAI promotes an understanding of the problems of international politics through studies, research, meetings and publications.
  • Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies at the University of Malta currently hosts the Euro-Med site. The Academy offers also courses in diplomacy to diplomats and other government officials from Mediterranean countries and other countries interested in the Mediterranean.
  • Mediterranean and Regional Perspectives - regional activities of Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS), dealing in particular with the establishment of science and technology links for the EU´s southern neighbour states, both with the EU and between each other. IPTS is one of the eight institutes of the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Union.
