- Al-Urdun Al-Jadid Research Center (UJRC)
Al-Urdun Al-Jadid Research Center is an independent Jordanian scientific
organization engaged in research and studies as well as organizing
seminars for discussion, dialogue, training, consultations and
the exchange of expertise. Al-Urdun Al-Jadid Research Center is

training, consultations and the exchange of expertise. The mission of
the UJRC is to promote democratic culture in Jordan by deepening
knowledge of civil political organizations, enhancing the democratic
practices and encouraging citizens, particularly women and youth,
to be involved in political and social life. Al-Urdun Al-Jadid Research Center
is currently publishing a newsletter on Civil Society, Democracy and Sustainable Development, in Arabic only.
- The Center for Strategic Studies (CSS)
The Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) is an academic unit of the
University of Jordan concerned mainly with research in the fields of
regional conflicts, international relations and security. CSS is engaged in
activities that include planning and research in such new fields as
democracy, political pluralism, development, the economy and the
environment.
- Center for the Study of the Built Environment (CSBE)
The Center for the Study of the Built Environment (CSBE) is a non-profit, private study and research institution that aims at providing a better understanding of the built environment and of the challenges facing it in Jordan and the region. The built environment is defined in a comprehensive manner to include all physical components of human settlements such as buildings, streets, open spaces, and infrastructure. CSBE is therefore an interdisciplinary center that addresses areas including environmental studies, urban design and planning, conservation, architecture, landscape architecture, and construction technologies.

Recherches sur le Moyen-Orient Contemporain (CERMOC)
CERMOC is a social science research center administratively dependent upon
the human social sciences and archeology unit of the French Ministry of
Foreign Affairs' Directorate of Cultural, Scientific, and Technical Relations.
Founded in Beirut in 1977, CERMOC opened an annex in Amman in 1988.
- Royal Scientific Society (RSS)
The Royal Scientific Society is a non-profit institution that conducts scientific and technological research related to the development process in Jordan. The Society also aims at disseminating awareness in the scientific and technological fields and at providing specialized technical consultations and services to the public and private sectors.
